In the Fashion Design program, you’ll develop skills in design and patternmaking. You’ll learn both traditional and computer-generated design as you develop your own sense of design and style. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as costume designer, assistant fashion buyer, fashion designer, or seamstress.

Program Description

The Associate of Science in Fashion Design degree program is designed to prepare students with skills in research, concept development, and garment design and production in the apparel-manufacturing industry. Emphasis is placed on technical aspects, with a concentration on computer-aided design, providing readiness for the needs of the industry of the future. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level positions in apparel design, pattern making, grading, and production management. The length of the program is six [6] eleven [11]-week quarters.
