In the Culinary Arts program, you’ll gain practical experience in the kitchen while studying the business of cost control, sanitation and safety, menu and beverage management, nutrition, and kitchen management. You’ll learn to produce food quickly and in quantity while working with others. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as line cook and pantry cook (garde manger).

The Associate of Science degree program in Culinary Arts is designed to prepare students with a market-driven, competency-based education delivered by faculty with appropriate credentials and industry experience. This program is designed to prepare graduates to seek entry-level positions such as baking and pastry cook, garde manger cook, and station chef. The length of the program is six [6] eleven [11]-week quarters.
